This policy outlines how we collect, use, and safe guard your data in compliance with Federal Decree Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection (UAE Data Protection Law).

This policy applies only to data collected via the App and its connected services. It supplements and should be read in conjunction with the broader Gargash Group Worker Privacy Policy and does not override any existing policies related to employee data. By using this App, you agree to this Privacy Policy and the Worker Privacy Policy.

• Subsidiaries or affiliates directly or indirectly owned by Gargash;

Introduction

The App, provided by Gargash Group, offers employees a centralized platform to access their employment information, company policies, and HR services. This policy outlines how we handle personal data within the App, in line with applicable data protection regulations. We are committed to handling your personal data responsibly and transparently.

How We Collect Information

• Automatically:

Device ID and Crash Data are collected automatically when you use the App.

• From Third Parties:

Personal Information is retrieved securely from Microsoft Active Directory (SSO) as part of your organization's user management.

How We Use Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and maintain App functionality
• Enable push notifications
• Improve and trouble shoot the App via crash analytics
• Ensure secure, authenticated access through Microsoft AD

Sharing of Information

We do not sell or share your personal data with external providers for marketing purposes. However, for App diagnostics, crash data is shared with Firebase Crashlytics, a third-party service that helps us analyze and fix App issues. This is necessary for maintaining and improving App quality.

Data Retention

• Personal Information (Full Name, Job Title, Department, Corporate Phone Number, Corporate Email ID, Office Location) is stored locally on your device and is deleted automatically when you log out.
• EmployeeID (user ID) and Device ID are stored in our backend database for push notification functionality and are retained until the Device ID expires.

User Rights

• Delete Data: You can delete locally stored personal data by logging out of the app.
• Access Data: Currently, there is no in-app feature to view or export all stored data.
• Other Rights: Users in certain jurisdictions may have additional rights, including lodging a complaint with the Data Office in line with UAE law.

Security Measures

We take security seriously and use the following measures:

• Encrypted data transfer (HTTPS)
• SSO authentication via Microsoft Active Directory
• Access controls limited to authorized personnel
• Regular vulnerability assessments
